Stud Mounted Resistors
The Stud Mounted Range offers a compact, cost-effective solution for use in high energy charge and discharge applications. The units are assembled using a high tensile steel bolt and retaining nut, with steatite porcelain insulating bushes at either end to assist with registration. The compressive mounting force is achieved using Schnorr Disc Springs (2 at either end). Standard Brass Terminals are provided for electrical connection.
The units can be readily mounted to a panel or enclosure using the bolt extension provided.
All components used in the Stud Mounted range are entirely inorganic. The Resistor Assemblies are therefore approved to UL94 V-0 Standards with respect to Fire and Smoke Regulations.
Earthing Sticks Resistors
Incorporating our Ceramic Carbon Resistor Technology, HVR Earthing Sticks have been developed specifically for use in High Voltage, High Energy Discharge Applications where operator safety is the prime concern.
Each Earthing Stick is ergonomically designed and is assembled with an integral handle and protection shield. Stored Energy is safely discharged into the Ceramic Resistor Discs via the Discharge Probe and Aluminium Terminal.
A permanent Earth connection can be maintained using the Earth Hook and High Voltage Cable, assembled at the other end of the Resistor Stack.
Rod and Tube Resistors
HVR Rod and Tube Resistors are manufactured from a carefully selected mixture of clays, alumina and carbon. After blending, the material is extruded into the required shape and then fired, in a controlled atmosphere, at high temperature.
RT RL 2W series
The RT / RL series of non inductive, ceramic composite resistors are ideal for circuitry associated with surges, high peak power or high energy, replacing carbon composition resistors which can be difficult to source.
Compact Circuitry Resistors
The SR Series of Surge Resistors for PCB mounting are manufactured from a carefully selected mixture of clays, alumina and carbon. After blending, the material is pressed to the required shape and then fired, in a controlled atmosphere, at high temperature.
Surge Resistors
The SR Series of Surge Resistors for PCB mounting are manufactured from a carefully selected mixture of clays, alumina and carbon. After blending, the material is pressed to the required shape and then fired, in a controlled atmosphere, at high temperature.
Linear Disc Resistors
HVR Linear Disc Resistors are manufactured from a carefully blended mixture of clays, alumina and carbon. After blending, the material is pressed to the required shape, with diameters ranging from 0.3 to 15.1cm. The resistors are then fired at high temperature in a tunnel kiln with controlled atmosphere.
